Additional PTP exams announced for November 2022
Are you a Trustee of a pension scheme and in a hurry to meet the Pensions Authority’s new minimum education requirements? We can help! Due to high demand, LIA has added a one-off special sitting for our Certificate in DC Pensions Scheme Trusteeship qualification (PTP designation). Registration is now open but must close on Friday, 23rd September. The exams will be held on Saturday 19th November 2022.
Whilst the course comprises two modules, those already holding the QFA are exempt from module one so only need to complete the second module to achieve the qualification and associated PTP designation. Exams for both modules will be held on 19th November.
This qualification is one of only two named by the Pensions Authority in its Code of Practice as meeting the minimum education requirements. This course aims to equip Trustees with the necessary knowledge, competence and skills to manage their scheme in accordance with the scheme rules, general trust law, and relevant provisions of the Pensions Act and associated regulations.
