  2. New Consumer Protection Code 2026 – The revised Code took effect 24 March 2026, replacing the 2012 version with expanded protections across digitalisation, mortgages, fraud, vulnerability, and climate risk.

After downloading the manual, you’ll be prompted to complete a declaration confirming that you’ve read the update. Once signed and submitted, 4 CPD hours will automatically be added to your LIA CPD record across categories 1-8, including Credit Union and Debt Management. Those who hold the PTP designation exclusively, will earn 1 CPD Hour for reading this manual.
