A practical introduction to using AI in everyday financial services work.
This free short course supports LIA members as they build confidence with AI and understand how it can enhance productivity, accuracy and communication in their daily roles.

What to Expect

The course includes nine 15–20 minute on-demand micro-lectures, each centred on a real-world task or workflow commonly used across financial services.
Every session concludes with AI in Action, giving a clear demonstration of how the tools work in practice and how they can be applied immediately in your own work.

LIA is committed to helping members adapt and thrive in an evolving profession. AI is becoming part of everyday professional work. This course was developed to help members adapt early, understand the opportunities and risks, and use AI safely and confidently within a regulated environment.

If you’d like to build on the skills gained in the AI Foundations Series, you can take the next step with the AI Accelerator course, commencing in February.
This 12-month advanced course is designed for professionals who already understand the basics of AI and want to develop more practical, up-to-date skills.

Whether you have just completed the AI Foundations course or previously completed another AI short course, the AI Accelerator will help you deepen your knowledge through six live, expert-led sessions followed by twice-yearly update lectures.
