Joanne Keane, LIA Chief Executive, said of Damian’s appointment: ‘Corporate governance is an area of great importance and one which our Board and Senior Leadership Team have focused heavily on in recent years to ensure that our organisation is always abiding by best practice. It is important that our members feel that their organisation is operating to the highest possible standard and that, most importantly, its future is in safe hands. Damian’s expertise in this area is a very welcome addition to our Board and both I and my fellow directors look forward to working with Damian.’
Damian’s appointment brings the number of directors to nine in total, following Clodagh Sheehan’s retirement from the Board earlier this year.
