You didn’t get the result you were hoping for...
Don't be too hard on yourself

It's natural to feel disappointed. Be kind to yourself and avoid negative self-talk. A setback is just a temporary obstacle!

Assess your study habits

Take an honest look at your study habits and study schedule in the run up to the exam. Are there areas where you can improve? Did you use all the student resources available to you in your LIA Study Hub?

Plan your next step

Use this setback as an opportunity to develop resilience. Re-register for your exam and come back stronger. We are here to help you achieve your career goals, please don’t hesitate to contact the Education Team to discuss your options on 01-456 3890 or email education@lia.ie

Use the resources available to you
Once registered for your exam, remember to utilise the textbook and all the e-learning resources available to you within your LIA Study Hub, especially the Guide to Poorly Performing Areas and the Exam Preparation Masterclass. These masterclasses (live and recorded) provide an exam overview, study tips, revision of important sections of the exam textbook, and a review of sample questions and answers. Our studies show that students who attend the Exam Preparation Masterclasses score higher in their exams than those who do not, so this is an incredibly valuable resource. We have carefully constructed all the e-learning resources to help you through your educational journey and support you in anticipation of your exam. Other valuable resources include pre-recorded webinars, sample exam papers, a study guide, micro-learning webinars and more.

Don't forget that the education team in LIA is also here to support you!
