Event Description

This webinar will provide advisers with a practical overview of the development of PRSAs, the rules that currently apply to PRSA funding, and how PRSAs compare with Master Trusts in the context of employer pension funding. It will examine the key technical and planning considerations that arise when advising both employers and members, with a particular focus on contribution structures, funding limits, access rules, and retirement options.

The webinar will also explore the tax treatment of both employer and member contributions, the relevant pension and funding limits, and the circumstances in which funding through both a PRSA and a Master Trust may be possible in respect of the same employment. Designed to give advisors a clearer understanding of the opportunities and constraints in this area, the session will combine historical context with the current regulatory and practical framework.
