Karen has more than 25 years' experience in financial services. Her career began in the UK and led her to found her own firm, SurePlan Financial.
She has been closely involved with LIA for many years, serving as Cork Regional Chair and then as Chair of the National Committee. That time in the regions shapes her priorities as President, starting with bringing members together locally again.
Commenting on her inauguration, Karen said:
"As a long-time member of LIA, it was an honour to be invited to become President. I am excited to be involved with the organisation again after my time on the National Committee and my hope is to work with members across the country to re-introduce the regional networking opportunities which were at the heart of LIA for many years."
